This is Pierre, the 2 year old African Grey Parrot. I tried to get him talking as much as I could, but he wasn't saying nearly as much as he can. He can say hundreds of different sentences, noises, etc. This is him at Northern Reptile breeding facility, so there's tons of cricket chirps in the background.

Adorable two-and-a-half-year-old pig Wilbur hams it up for the cameras as he walks down New York City streets with owner Nadine Darsanlal. Emotional support animal, Wilbur, accompanies Nadine, a disabled Navy veteran, everywhere she goes, providing therapeutic benefits through companionship and affection. Wilbur, a Juliana and Pot-Bellied Pig mix, even sleeps in Nadine's bed at night and lets her brush his teeth in the morning.

No babies were harmed in the making of this video. Can't say the same for the banana. Seriously, I got that piece of banana out of his mouth right after this clip ended -- which woke him up, mad about losing his little bit of banana!

Too much plastic surgery: Herbert Chavez of Calamba City in the Philippines is a huge fan of Superman, so much that he has undergone 19 plastic surgeries over 16 years to transform himself into the super hero. The surgical procedures the 36-year-old has endured include nose jobs, lip liposuction, skin whitening, jaw realignment, pectoral implants and abdominal implants. So far, the surgeries have cost Chavez 300,000 Pesos, or more than US$6,800. His appearance also requires maintenance, but as a regular patient, Chavez gets procedures done for free in exchange for publicizing his doctor's practice. Chavez plans on having metal implanted in his legs next in order to make himself taller. However, the Superman fanatic has acknowledged that there will come a day when he will no longer be able to handle any more surgeries. "When my body says it can not endure it anymore or when my doctor says that my body can not handle it because of age, then I will stop," he said. Chavez has been a fan of the Man of Steel since he was 5-years-old, and he also happens to be the Guinness World Record holder for largest collection of Superman memorabilia. According to Guinness, Chavez's collection is filled with 1,253 Superman-related items, but he says that number is now closer to 5,000 pieces. Chavez plans on increasing his collection to 10,000 pieces, and has even moved into a larger home to accommodate his obsession. Chavez regularly dresses up in his Superman costume and walks around his neighborhood. He said he aims to teach children to have good morals and brighten their days. "I don't have any regrets at all. People come up to me in the street all the time and want their picture taken with me. They are all really excited to see a real-life Superman in the Philippines," he said.

A baby dolphin was born yesterday (Monday, September 17, 2012) at Dolphin Quest Hawaii, located at the Hilton Waikoloa Village. It's the first baby for proud dolphin mom, 12-year-old Keo. Dolphin Quest trainers were in the water during the dolphin birth to observe and comfort the new dolphin mom. Dolphins Pele (the new baby's grandmother) and Noelani (the baby's aunt) were also in the Dolphin Quest lagoon to keep Keo company. The baby, a female calf, and mom are both well and wonderful. The baby dolphin began nursing within four hours of birth. About 50 people gathered around the Hilton's Dolphin Quest lagoon to witness the rarely-seen event. Keo was in labor for approximately one hour. The first 30 days of a newborn dolphin's life are the most critical. Dolphin Quest trainers will continue round-the-clock watch over the pair, recording nursing and respiration rates, and making sure that Keo is well-fed and hydrated. Over that period, Keo's new baby will be introduced to the other nine dolphins at Dolphin Quest Hawaii. After the initial 30 day care period, trainers will select a name for the new baby girl.
